This is the story of a country populated by very distinctive women — the Amazonians of the Caucasus – who are steering Georgia into modernity and away from the days of the Soviet Union. The documentary features five women doing transformational work in their respective sectors: street graffiti, climate change, cultural heritage, wine producing, and music.
I must have flown over Georgia dozens of times in the past on my way to Asia, but somehow I never felt compelled to explore what was on the ground. Since this film, I feel like jumping on a parachute every time I pass by to revisit again one of the countries where women irradiate more light and color on Earth.
