Lucy Guest arrived to India from the UK in the year 2000. She left behind a successful career in Oxford and a very lucrative job in search of a happier life. In the saint city of Varanasi, she established an Ashram and started providing education to underprivileged children. Her mission goes on reaching more and more children each year.

Lucy Guest is a good example of how modern times –in increasingly competitive societies–, can put so much pressure on individuals to strive for greatness that this may ultimately lead to implosion. In the case of Lucy, after that implosion, a bright light followed and a new more fulfilling life as well.
